The real conspiracy is that Kubrick really did film the Moon landing, but not in studio, on the actual Moon.

Mitchel and Webb as always have a perfect bit for this.

For a more serious look on why the moon landing couldn't have possibly been faked by Kubrick technologically this is a super interesting and entertaining ~15 minute video.

TLDR: We did have the technology to send dudes up to the moon, we didn't have the technology to fake the footage with slowmo.

Saw this years ago and it immediately came to mind when the boys brought up Kubrick. Really fascinating to think at one point it was easier to go to the moon than to fake it.

At the exact moment I’m thinking that MW’s having another freaking snek hallucination (as he tells us about the Quayle tattoo), Kmele pipes up with, “this is a snek moment there, Matt Welch” 😆

Alright paying subscribers, you’ve gotten two in two days now. Let’s try playing the marshmallow game and defer gratification a little bit so that we don’t have to send out the rehab team to treat your jitters and cold sweats three days from now.

I often have to wait to listen when they drop one, so I'm pretty patient. I do hope they do the Sunday early their time so I can join before I have to do a thing I committed to.

Of note: I will be adding the TRUMP tattoo to my yearly lesson on bad tattoos...I do it for the children. I even have a vocabulary list of red flag words and phrases when considering a tattoo.

Im a dem and im leaning dem but i really don’t trust either candidate this cycle. The overwhelming guilt of participating in electing someone with cognitive decline like Biden in 2020 hit me hard this year with that debate performance. Im hesitant over my participation in the duopoly this November. This election sucks.

Here's Tim Pool's wikipedia page that he totally didn't write himself.

First Line: " Tim Pool is a 25 year old independent journalist[1] who has recently become world famous while reporting live at the Occupy Wall Street protests." Another great line: "Tim was astonished by the initial overwhelmingly positive response of his viewers. The combination of Tim's energetic and uniquely skilled reporting skills quickly resulted in TheOther99 live ustream becoming the most popular on the internet. In a matter of hours, Tim's viewer count had skyrocketed from a few hundred to nearly 13,000 simultaneous viewers. A star was born." https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tim_Pool&oldid=461244762

Ya beat me to it!

My favorite part is at the end:

“There is now a Tim Pool fan page on facebook, and hundreds of thousands of greatly appreciative fans of his amazing reporting talent, stamina, and... well, just plain awesomeness! THANK YOU TIM!”

Fun Fact: Kris Kobach used to teach at the law school I went to. It was a state school. :)

Little known fact is Moynihan's middle name is 'Chesa'.

(HEDGING ALERT). I believe Kris Kobach also had a brief career touring around small to midsized towns in the midwest providing consulting services for, again I believe, six figures a pop that was a lot for those towns, to help them write laws against illegal immigrants based on the things he tried to implement in Kansas that were struck down. After paying him these fees, these towns were also on the hook for costs in defending these laws when lawsuits were inevitably filed and lost.

How can this be episode 443 if according to firehouse #109 Batya was on episode 451…back in April? Did I miss the guys starting a new numbering scheme?

Went from 462 on 7/7 to 436 on 7/12. Guessing 463 got transposed and then went unnoticed down the line?

Re the blitz of prosecutions recently - it's not just these foreign influence cases, the Adams administration, etc., they DoJ recently released a bunch of indictments against Hamas leaders and organizations affiliated with them. I think this is a big Law and Order (bum bum) push before an election, to show how Kamala and her polyamorous style presidential constellation will be the Prosecutor in Chief, as opposed to lawless Donald Trump.

There's a debate in a few days, and I expect to hear a full recounting of all the indicting the administration has doing during a Harris answer about immigration/the border. She'll say something like "the real national security threat is Donald Trump's supporters, who are paid agents of Russia, interfering with our Sacred Democracy."

PS, not that this means the accusations are false or anything - it just seems like a whole lot of stuff all at once.

The ‘white lies’ for the ‘good of the people’ by our orgs & institutions (most recently the C-19 campaign) has stoked the flames of the distrusting/hating kind 🤷🏻‍♀️

It seems to me that Poland is a country that has managed to take a pretty strong line against mass immigration, along with a variety of other threats, while holding onto themselves as one of the good guys.
