I'd reserve that specific title for his podcast co-host but am consistently unimpressed by Dave Smith. His confidence outweighs his intellect. I suppose that's the right formula for running for office?
Is there anyone in the history of Libertarian circles who has done more while doing less than Dave Smith? I mean it seems like a law the past few years that the guy has to be shoehorned into every discussion even tangentially related to libertarianism.
And frankly I barely know who the guy is. He's a stand up comedian right? Never heard anything by it about him in that field. He has been threatening to run for president the last eight election cycles right? Did he ever or is he ever doing it? He is a libertarian right? Does he actually know anything about it or have any good takes on it?
He is like the Zelig of modern day politics. He is just kind of always there, but no one knows why.
“It is no coincidence that this presidential inauguration occurs during the festival of Hanukkah, the festival of light, since it celebrates the true essence of freedom.”
Is dickbaggery a technical term? Megyn Kelly is eloquent as usual (even when I don't agree with all her claims) but that white top with zipper all way to throat and long sleeves thingee she was wearing gave a total 1960 Bond villain jumpsuit vibe
I'm still in the links, but one thing: I took my kid to see Glen Hansard at the Hollywood Bowl several years back with "Head and the Heart" and "Iron & Wine". Glen was incredible - they all were. But "Head and the Heart "stole the show.
No she pretty much looks good no matter what, it is a fashion choice that kinda jumped out at me, and considering how little I pay attention to fashion, that's sayin something.
Everyone invited to the Ask A Jew Hanukkah Party in NYC next week! Unless you're an ancient Greek. Too soon.

Living in SoCal I won't be able to make it, but I'll be looking for my personal invitation to Chaya Leah's house.
That first pic...blush, *sniff*sniff*. I feel seen.
Liz should be the next Reason colleague to guest on the Fifth. Girl is a firecracker!
Thank you for reminding me that Dave Smith and Dave Rubin are two separate people. I’m not sure I understand the difference between them, though.
Wow, Cornel must really be into all that love and brotherhood crap. He'll take a picture with almost anyone.
Ok. We've all reached our breaking point. One of the MWs has to change their name, just in the interest of world harmony.
I’m choosing to refer to them both as Matt Walch.
I think I found a worse mixup than Matt Welch/Walsh: https://www.ushmm.org/online/hsv/person_view.php?PersonId=5322662
Oh god
Dave Smith is a fucking idiot. Sorry Liz & Zack - I don’t think I’m going to make it through this interview.

Re: Megyn's outfit, you say that like it's a bad thing.

Matt, this is Milei in a kippah, as documented by the Times of Israel. You're welcome. Scroll down for the full glory of the hair. https://www.timesofisrael.com/lighting-menorah-argentinas-new-president-says-forces-of-heaven-will-back-israel/
These are always so nutrient-rich.
